NEW DELHI: UM Motorcycles - the Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker UM International, LLC - today announced an increase in price for their product range in India on account of increase in raw material costs.

The Renegade Commando will now be available at Rs 1.64 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike was earlier priced at Rs 1.59 lakh. Whereas Renegade Sports S will now be available at Rs 1.57 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle was earlier priced Rs 1.49 lakh.

This price revision was effective from 1st January, 2017.

Rajeev Mishra, director, UML, said, “This price revision is on account of increase in the cost of raw material and other cost of operations. We have rationalized the costs, but taken care that impact is minimal.”
