TVS Motor sales rise 21% to 6.16 lakh units in August

TVS Motor Company’s total sales increased 21% year-on-year to 6,16,540 units in August 2026, compared with 5,09,536 units in August 2025, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

Total two-wheeler sales grew 21% to 5,91,437 units last month.

Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 18% to 4,33,796 units in August from 3,68,862 units in the same month last year.


“Two-wheeler EVs registered an exponential growth of 137 per cent with sales of 59,453 units in August 2026 as against 25,138 units in August 2025,” TVS Motor said.

The company’s international business recorded 29% year-on-year growth, with sales rising to 1,74,452 units in August 2026.

Three-wheeler sales increased 34% to 25,103 units last month from 18,748 units a year earlier.
