TVS Motor names global biz head Peyman Kargar as next chief executive

MUMBAI: TVS Motor Company has named its international business head Peyman Kargar as its next chief executive officer, putting him in charge as the two-wheeler maker targets further growth in India and an expansion into developed markets.

Kargar will take over as director and CEO from K N Radhakrishnan on January 27, 2027, TVS Motor said on Friday. Radhakrishnan will continue as CEO until then and subsequently serve as a non-executive director till the company's annual general meeting scheduled for July 2027. The leadership change comes after TVS Motor sold 5.9 million vehicles globally in FY26 and reported 30% revenue growth.

Kargar currently serves as president of international business, which contributes 29% of TVS Motor's sales volumes and is growing at 33%. He has more than three decades of automotive industry experience across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
