Straight from the horse’s mouth
Hyderabad-based EIMOR Customs have worked on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 to fashion it into a vintage bobber. They call this the Regale. EIMOR says "Break The Form'' was the idea behind this build. While the Interceptor is purely a scrambler, the idea was to make it into an old school single seater bobber.

What’s new
The Regale gets new tyres, new stainless steel exhausts, and new custom fenders. The rear shock absorbers have also been repositioned. The air filter and battery have been shifted and old school tool boxes have been made on the lines of ammo boxes.

Heart of the beast
The Regale has a 648cc, parallel-twin, 4-stroke, air-oil cooled engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 47HP @ 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm @ 5250 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, the bulky and upswept dual exhausts have been replaced by a pair of aftermarket lightweight straight pipes.

Tasteful aesthetics
The handle bar remains the same but the instrument cluster has been replaced with a single pod unit. There are brass accents at different places on the bike and which give the bike a vintage look. The fuel tank has been slightly redesigned and the frame that held the long seat on the Interceptor has been chopped off.

Absolute beauty
The paint job and the choice of upholstery makes it an absolute beauty to look at and the motorcycle was specifically customized to participate at the Rider Mania 2019, which was held in Goa in November last year. The bike runs on the same 100/90-18 front and 130/70-18 rear tyres though.
