Suzuki Intruder 150 specs
The Intruder 150 is powered by the same 155cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that already propels the Gixxer series. The carbureted motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and churns out 14.8PS at 8,000rpm, and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,000rpm.

Entering the Avenger territory
The bike directly rivals the likes of the Bajaj Avenger 150 Street.
Based on the successful Gixxer's platform, the Intruder 150 is a new breed of cruisers and looks like a hybrid of the conventional cruiser with streetfighter design. It shares a similar Gixxer like frame with some alterations in reduction of seat height to 740mm while most of the cycle parts remain untouched.

The looks
The new bike, shares the same lines of its elder 1800CC brother with its beefy tank shrouds and triangular headlamp nacelle. Besides a low seat height, it gets a raised handlebar and forward-set footpegs for a comfortable cruiser-type riding posture. The fully-digital instrument cluster has been taken from the Gixxer series while the LED headlamp is a first in a Suzuki commuter.

Suzuki Motorcycles India on November 7 launched a new entry-level cruiser in the country - the Intruder 150. Positioned on the premium commuter segment, the new motorcycle has been priced at Rs 98,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Suzuki Intruder 150 features
The Suzuki Intruder also retains the bigger 17-inch, three-split-spoke, alloy wheels from Gixxer in comparison with Bajaj Avenger. The front comes suspended on 41mm telescopic forks and the rear gets a seven-step adjustable monoshock. The cruiser receives a disc brake at both the front and the rear end while the ABS is offered as a standard option.
