What’s new in the 2026 Burgman
The design has not been overhauled but it does not stay completely untouched either. The scooter now gets a revised split-LED headlamp with integrated DRLs. The biggest shift comes in features. The top-spec version now gets a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with navigation support. The fuel filler has been repositioned under the tail-lamp. Underseat storage has increased to 24.6 litres from 21.5 litres. The scooter also includes USB charging and twin front storage pockets, making everyday usage slightly easier.
New Suzuki Burgman platform and engine changes
Underneath the familiar bodywork, the scooter now sits on a new platform derived from the Access range. Suzuki claims the new frame is 500 grams lighter while offering 25 per cent higher torsional rigidity.The engine remains the same 124cc air-cooled unit. It now produces 8.4 hp and 10.2 Nm of torque and continues to be paired with a CVT gearbox.
