Managing Director and CEO B. Govindarajan told PTI that the first model to launch will be the Flying Flea C6, followed by the S6. He also told the news wire agency that the EVs will be launched in India “shortly after” the European debut. He noted that the company’s immediate focus is on establishing the Flying Flea lineup and nurturing a new market for electric motorcycles. “The market doesn’t fully exist yet, but it will evolve—and we’re confident about growing this category over time,” he said.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea FF.S6: Key Details
The FF.S6 pays homage to the original lightweight Flying Flea, known for its agility and versatility. It features a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, upside-down forks, long-travel suspension, and a chain final drive. An enduro-style seat and off-road riding mode enhance comfort and control across mixed terrain. The motorcycle also includes dual-channel switchable ABS and lean-angle sensing for improved safety.The FF.S6 is powered by a finned magnesium battery housing for optimal cooling and balance. A round touchscreen instrument cluster blends classic styling with modern functionality. It runs on Royal Enfield’s custom operating system, supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor, offering 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
According to a report of ET Auto, the Flying Flea FF.S6 will be built at Royal Enfield’s Vallam Vadagal plant in Tamil Nadu, with engineering inputs from teams in India and the UK. More details on localization, specifications, and pricing will be announced closer to production.
