Rocket 3 GT, Triumph's most expensive bike, is now in India

The Rocket 3 GT has a muscular finish with signature twin LED headlights. Its sculpted three-header exhaust gives it a distinctive look. Another highlight of the bike is its all-new lightweight multi-spoke cast-aluminium wheels that deliver a stunning contemporary design. Further, it has beautifully engineered single-sided swingarm with offset monoshock suspension has high-value finishing on the bevel box and an aluminum rear license plate hanger.It has stylish wired handlebars as well.

The Rocket 3 GT model is made for long tours. For that Triumph has fitted a more laid back, touring-oriented handlebars in the bike. It has sculpted rider and pillion saddles for those long road trips. Its feet forward foot controls allow a more comfortable riding position.

The bike is loaded with features as expected from a high end one. It has anti-lock braking system (ABS), hill hold control that prevents the bike rolling backwards, turn-by-turn navigation system, cruise control, keyless ignition, tyre pressure monitoring system, integrated phone and music operation and a full-colour TFT instrument console.

The Rocket 3 GT is powered by a 2,500 cc engine. It is an in-line three-cylinder engine which makes 165 bhp of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and an impressive 221 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. As per the company, it is world's biggest production motorcycle engine and offers the highest torque for a motorcycle in production.

It is said to be the costliest bike of Triumph, almost Rs 40,000 more than its sibling - the Rocket 3. The Rocket 3GT has a Rs 18.4 lakh price tag. Its already in sale in India and is available in three colours - Silver Ice/Storm Grey and Phantom Black.
