Nov auto sales: Bajaj Auto's sales volumes drop 10%
Bajaj Auto on Wednesday reported a 10% fall in total sales volume to 3.79 lakh units in November in comparison to 4.22 lakh units a year ago.
On the domestic front, Bajaj Auto’s total sales dipped 20% to around 1.59 lakh units as against 1.99 lakh units in November 2020. The company exported 2.20 lakh units in November 2021 in comparison to 2.23 lakh units a year ago, a minor dip of 1%.
Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicle sales in India grew 29% in November, while exports recorded a 2% uptick. 2-wheeler sales was down 23% year-on-year to 1.45 lakh units in India while shipments dropped 2% to 1.93 lakh units. 2-wheeler sales fell 12% while commercial vehicle volumes saw an uptick of 10% overall.
