India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) on Friday announced the launch of new Ninja 300 with a price tag of Rs 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model comes with front and rear Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

The 2018 Ninja 300 costs around Rs 62,000 less than its outgoing version. The price cut is a result of the addition of more locally produced parts to the bike.

There is no other mechanical change in the motorcycle and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to get 39PS of power and 27Nm of torque from the same 296cc, eight-valve, parallel-twin-cylinder engine. the liquid-cooled motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox via assist & slipper clutch for slick shiftings and a lighter clutch lever pull.
