The most affordable Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycle has finally entered the Indian market today with a price tag of Rs 2,29,000 (ex-showroom) and upwards. The design of the much-anticipated bike was revealed earlier in May.
It is the most affordable, entry-level motorcycle from Harley-Davidson, which has been jointly developed by Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp, and the latter will manufacture it locally in India.
The motorcycle features a modern-retro design language, and the styling is inspired by the Harley-Davidson XR1200. In other design elements, it has a circular LED headlamp, a round fully digital instrument cluster, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a stubby tail section. Other highlights include a flat handlebar, machined alloy wheels, and round LED indicators.
