Honda Dio 125 scooter launched, price starts at Rs 83,400

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched its new Dio 125 scooter on Thursday. The starting price of the newly launched two-wheeler is Rs 83,400.

The earlier version of Dio came with a 110cc engine. The new version, on the other hand, comes with a 125cc engine boosted by the eSP (enhanced smart power) feature.

According to a company statement, the Dio 125 boasts of features such as idling stop system, side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, multi-function switch for unlocking seat and opening external fuel lid, telescopic suspension with high 171 mm ground clearance.


HMSI Managing Director, President & CEO Tsutsumu Otani said, "In its all-new 125cc avatar, the Honda Dio 125 has been specially designed and developed to fulfill the aspirations of young Indian customers."

The Dio 125 will come in two variants — Standard and Smart.
