Festive push: TVS Motor launches Victor premium
The company claimed to have about 14 per cent marketshare in the total cumulative two-wheeler market (motorcycle and scooters combined).
"West Bengal being a key market, we are launching the 110 cc motorcycle premium edition from this city," TVS Motor VP (marketing) Aniruddha Haldar said today.
The cumulative sales of Victor is over two lakh units across India, the company said.
Commuters' segment accounts for 77 per cent of the total motorcycle market while 15 per cent is premium and super premium is just about seven per cent of the pie of 10.25 lakh units a month.

Halder claimed the company had passed on the benefits of the Goods and Services Tax to customers under the new taxation regime. He declined to share further details.
