Ampere Electric launches Magnus Pro at Rs 73,990

Ampere claimed the Magnus Pro runs 100 km per charge on economy mode and 80 km per hour on performance mode. The scooter takes five hours to for full charge. The scooter has a running cost of 15 paise per km.

Ampere Electric Monday launched electric scooter Magnus Pro priced at Rs 73,990 (ex-showroom, India).

Ampere Electric is a 100% subsidiary of Greaves Cotton.

Ampere claimed the Magnus Pro runs 100 km per charge on economy mode and 80 km per hour on performance mode. The scooter takes five hours to for full charge. The scooter has a running cost of 15 paise per km.


Nagesh Basavanhali, managing director at Greaves Cotton said, “We see personal affordable mobility will pick up post COVID-19...We believe electric scooters by virtue of the low running cost will grow going toward.”

The Magnus Pro is being launched in Bengaluru and will be eventually introduced across the country. Ampere Electric has 200 showrooms across 190 cities and towns. With this launch, Ampere now has half a dozen electric two-wheelers in its portfolio.
