Tata Elxsi develops ECU for Subaru's hybrid electric vehicle

Tata Elxsi said ECU is developed on a dual-core microcontroller, which helps control the inter-bus communication necessary to pass information between multiple communication networks within the vehicle.

BANGALORE: Tata Elxsi, a Tata group company, today said it has developed ECU ( Electronic Control Unit) for Subaru's new hybrid electric vehicle.


Tata Elxsi's automotive electronics development division has completed development of an AUTOSAR 3.0 compliant gateway ECU for Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd, the company said in a release.

This ECU has now gone into production for Subaru's new hybrid electric vehicle from June 2013, it added.
