VE Commercial Vehicles sales up 6.9% at 7,318 units in April

New Delhi: Eicher Motors Ltd on Friday said its arm VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd has posted a 6.9 per cent increase in total sales at 7,318 units in April 2026 as compared to the same month last year.

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture of the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 6,846 units in April 2025, Eicher Motors said in a regulatory filing.

April 2026 sales included 7,159 units of the Eicher brand and 159 units of the Volvo brand, it added.


In the domestic commercial vehicles market, Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6,797 units last month as compared to 6,257 units in April 2025, a growth of 8.6 per cent.

Exports of Eicher-branded trucks and buses were down 21.3 per cent at 362 units as compared to 460 units in April 2025, it added.
