VE Commercial Vehicles posts 17.7% growth August vehicle sales at 8,434 units

Mumbai: VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd on Tuesday posted a 17.7 per cent growth in its total vehicle sales at 8,434 units in August 2026 as compared with 7,167 units in August 2025.

This includes 8,162 units of the Eicher brand and 272 units of the Volvo brand, the company said.

VE Commercial Vehicles is a joint venture between Swedish auto major Volvo Group and Eicher Motors.


Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 8,162 units in August 2026 as compared with 6,924 units in August 2025, representing growth of 17.9 per cent.

In the domestic CV market, Eicher-branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 7,584 units in the previous month, August, as compared with 6,331 units in August 2025, a growth of 19.8 per cent, the company said.

On the exports front, VECV recorded sales of 578 units during the reporting month as compared with 593 units in August 2025, representing a decline of 2.5 per cent, it said.

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 272 units in August 2026, up 12.9 per cent over 243 units in August 2025, the company said.
