Volkswagen unveils its new SUV Taigun, to compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos

New Volkswagen SUV
According to a report by TOI, Volkswagen today unveiled the production-ready Taigun. The launch is scheduled for the festive season. Built on the MQB A0 IN platform, Taigun will be up to 95% localized and powered by TSI engine with two engine options, 1L TSI and 1.5L TSI and three transmissions.

Bold exterior design
The Taigun features 17-inch alloy wheels, striking LED headlamps with LED DRL and width spanning LED tail lamps wrapped in piano finish. The SUV also features new VW logo and an exclusive top-of-the-line GT will also be offered. It will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Loaded with electronics
Inside the cabin, Taigun gets a digital cockpit, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto AC with touch control, Type-C and USB charging ports. Ventilated leather front seats and ambient lighting will also be part of the package.

On a launch spree
Volkswagen has also commenced the bookings for the second batch of T-Roc and Tiguan AllSpace. The 2021 T-Roc has been priced at Rs 21.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The fourth SUV of the quartet - Tiguan - will be launched ahead of Taigun.
