NEW DELHI: Japanese auto major Toyota Thursday launched the first cross-badged vehicle premium hatchback Glanza sourced from business partner Suzuki in the Indian market prices between Rs 7.21 lakh and Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Glanza comes strapped with BS VI-compliant petrol engines and advanced li-ion battery with ISG.
N Raja, deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), said, “The Glanza marks our entry into the premium hatchback segment. The Glanza comes equipped with a host of features to meet the requirements on millennials.”
The vehicles have been manufactured and supplied to Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) by Suzuki Motor Gujarat. Toyota has launched the hybrid technology in the Glanza given challenges related to infrastructure in the Indian market.
