Under the hood
The Toyota Glanza is powered by Baleno's BSVI-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that is available in two different state of tunes. This engine churns out 88.5 bhp on the G Manual trim and 81.8 bhp on the V manual, CVT and G CVT trims, while delivering 113 Nm of torque across the range.
The engine on the G MT variant also gets a lithium ion battery with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). This battery setup offers functionalities like idle start stop function, torque assist function, and brake energy regeneration, and offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.87 km/l, which is more than the 21.01 km/l fuel efficiency figure on the V MT variant.
Apart from this, the fuel efficiency figure for the G CVT and V CVT is 19.56 km/l.

What's different
The major difference is that unlike the Baleno, which has a warranty of two years or 40,000 km, the Glanza gets Toyota's three year or 1 lakh km warranty period. Besides this, the changes on the Glanza are very few.

Same design as Baleno's
Talking about the design of the Glanza, it is the same as Baleno's except that the Maruti Suzuki badge has been replaced by Toyota's. Apart from this, the Glanza looks like a Baleno in every sense, including the alloy wheel design. Both the cars have same interior with same equipment list and features.
