Tata Motors launches facelifted Tiago NRG

The Tata Tiago is a five door hatchback that was first launched in 2016 and was in essence a successor to the wildly successful Tata Indica hatchback. Earlier last year, Tata introduced a facelifted version of the Tiago, on which it’s latest release is also fashioned, but with added features.

Tata has equipped the car with more padding along the exterior as well as increased ground clearance to modify it into a crossover, also added are front and rear silver skid plates, blacked-out roof and ORVMs, door handles, D-pillar, and roof rails.

The new model features a push start/stop button, a reverse camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The suspension on the Tiago NRG has been redone to handle harsher road conditions.

Tata has decided to market the NRG with only one engine option - a 1.2-litre petrol - that churns out 84 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, paired to a five speed transmission.
