Tata Motors has announced the launch of its petrol and diesel variants of the Curvv SUV. Following the debut of the electric variant last month, the petrol version is priced at an introductory rate of Rs 9.99 lakh, valid until October 31, 2024. The diesel variant starts at Rs 11.49 lakh. The DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic) variant is also available with an introductory price of Rs 12.49 lakh. Deliveries for these models will commence from September 12, 2024.

These introductory prices are valid for bookings made until October 31, 2024. Customers can now book the model, with deliveries scheduled to commence from September 12, 2024.

Tata Curvv Petrol: Interior Design

Inside, the Curvv ICE mirrors the EV's interior with a dual-tone burgundy and black color scheme. It features a four-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a nine-speaker JBL audio system. The front seats are ventilated, and the driver's seat has six-way electric adjustment. Rear seats offer a two-step reclining function.


The Curvv SUV is equipped with advanced safety features including a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. Notably, the Curvv ICE introduces a powered tailgate with gesture controls, a first in its segment.

  • Hyperion GDi MT: Creative at Rs 13.99 lakh, Creative S at Rs 14.99 lakh, Accomplished S at Rs 15.99 lakh, Accomplished + A at Rs 17.49 lakh.

The Curvv SUV will be available in three engine options, all featuring an Advanced Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission:

1.2L Revotron Petrol Engine:
This engine offers a turbocharged powertrain with multiple drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport. It includes paddle shifters and a Smart E-Shifter. The 7-speed DCA boasts a wet clutch with active cooling technology, auto park lock, machine learning capabilities, shift-by-wire technology, and a self-healing mechanism.

1.5L KryoJet Diesel Engine: This new diesel engine features the segment's first 7-speed DCA with E-shifter. It includes drive modes such as Eco, City, and Sport, along with a wet clutch with active cooling, shift-by-wire technology, self-learning capability, and patented self-healing technology.

Tata Curvv: Upcoming Variants and Editions

The Curvv ICE will be available in four trim levels: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished. It will also come in six exterior paint options, including a new Flame Red and the signature Gold Essence shade. Additionally, Tata Motors is expected to introduce a Dark Edition of the Curvv.

Tata Curvv Petrol: Specifications and Design

The Curvv SUV will feature key specifications such as 18-inch wheels, a ground clearance of 190 mm, and a water-wading depth of 450 mm. The vehicle also offers a balanced 50:50 weight distribution and a boot capacity of 500 liters.

Both the petrol and diesel variants share a similar design with the electric model, built on Tata Motor's new ATLAS platform.
