Renault is moving with the urgency of a high-speed train to launch a diverse lineup of products tailored to Indian consumers, as it aims to make India one of its top three global markets, according to a senior company official.

Stephane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Group in India, told PTI that the company is establishing a strong foothold in the country by introducing native factory-fitted CNG, updated powertrains, next-generation electronic architecture for value segments, along with hybrid and electric vehicles.

Deblaise noted that despite its current status as a smaller player in India’s passenger vehicle market, Renault is executing rapid changes to capitalize on the country's immense growth potential.
