Nissan has introduced its new Gravite MPV in India, targeting buyers looking for an affordable family vehicle. The MPV carries an introductory starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and is being offered with an attractive launch package, including zero service charges for the first five years. These special prices and benefits are part of a limited-period introductory offer. Here’s a detailed overview of the MPV’s design, engine, features and booking benefits.

Nissan Gravite: Design and styling

The Gravite is based on the CMF-A+ platform, which is also used in the Renault Triber. While both vehicles share similar dimensions, Nissan has given the Gravite its own styling elements to distinguish it.

At the front, the MPV features a fresh grille design with horizontal detailing, slim headlamps integrated with daytime running lights (DRLs), and Gravite branding on the bonnet. The front bumper has been revised with silver highlights and a skid plate-style finish for a rugged look. Along the sides, the vehicle gets new 15-inch alloy wheels and roof rails, enhancing its practical appeal. At the rear, sharp taillights connected by a chrome strip, silver bumper accents and Gravite badging complete the design.

The Gravite is available in five exterior shades: Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Metallic Grey and Storm White.

Nissan Gravite: Engine and performance

Powering the Gravite is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed EZ-Shift AMT automatic gearbox.

Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.3 kmpl for the manual version and 19.6 kmpl for the AMT variant. The company has also confirmed that a dual-cylinder CNG option will be launched in the near future.

Key highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, JBL audio system, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, air purifier, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.

Comfort features include neck and lumbar support, dual HVAC controls, eight air vents and dedicated air conditioning vents for third-row passengers. The Gravite also offers over 31 litres of storage space across various compartments, including gloveboxes, seatback pockets, door bins and cupholders.
