The company said this was its highest sales for the January-September period in India.
Mercedes-Benz also reported its highest quarterly sales, with 5,422 vehicles retailed between July and September 2026, up 6 per cent from 5,119 units retailed during July-September 2025.
In an interview, Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & CEO Santosh Iyer said the company sees a very strong growth momentum leading up to the festive season.
"January-September we have grown by 8 per cent, so clearly, quarter on quarter and the YTD (year-to-date) growth shows a strong demand to continue in the market. If I look at the immediate fourth quarter of this year, we still see the momentum to continue because of the festive period, which is ongoing. We have a very strong order bank," Iyer shared.
The company said sales during January-September 2026 were driven by demand across its Top-End Luxury, Core Luxury and Entry Luxury segments.
"Mercedes-Benz delivered 15,190 new vehicles to customers during January-September 2026, registering about 8 per cent growth over 14,132 units sold in the corresponding period last year, making it the strongest nine-month sales performance in the company's history in India," it said in a statement.
The company also achieved its best-ever quarterly sales performance, retailing 5,422 vehicles between July and September 2026, an increase of 6 per cent compared to 5,119 units retailed in Q3 2025," it added.
Mercedes-Benz also said it registered a 17 per cent quarter-on-quarter sales growth, owing to ongoing festive demand and the success of its 'Dream Days Campaign'.
The Top-End Luxury segment accounted for more than 25 per cent of sales during January-September 2026 and registered 13 per cent year-on-year growth, the company said.
Mercedes-Benz said it had undertaken product interventions and upgrades to its retail network during the period.
