Maruti Suzuki records highest-ever monthly sales at 2.76 lakh units in October, up 25% YoY

Maruti Suzuki India reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 2,76,120 units in October 2026, registering a 25% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared with 2,20,894 units sold in the same month last year.

Domestic sales, including sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), stood at 2,26,248 units, up 19.3% from 1,89,590 units in October 2025. Exports rose 59.3% to 49,872 units from 31,304 units a year ago.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 2,12,384 units, compared with 1,76,318 units in October last year. Utility vehicle sales increased to 97,787 units from 77,571 units, while passenger car sales rose to 1,00,877 units from 85,210 units.

Sales of vans stood at 13,720 units, against 13,537 units in the year-ago period. Light commercial vehicle sales, led by the Super Carry, stood at 4,405 units, compared with 4,357 units in October 2025.
