The company also said it is the only manufacturing facility under Suzuki Motor Corporation globally to reach this production level.

“Very few companies across the world have been able to manufacture such large volumes in a single country,” Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said.
Takeuchi added that the policy environment, including the rollout of GST 2.0, helped strengthen market confidence and drive demand at a critical time.
The automaker is also looking to expand capacity, backed by its parent’s focus on positioning India as an export hub. “We aim to scale it to about 40 lakh units per annum,” he said.
MSIL said models such as Dzire, Fronx, Swift, Ertiga and Baleno were among the most produced during the year, with each crossing the 2 lakh unit mark.

As part of its expansion plans, the company in March 2026 identified land for a fifth facility at Khoraj Industrial Estate, which will have an annual production capacity of 10 lakh units once fully operational.
Maruti Suzuki currently manufactures 17 models with over 650 variants for domestic and export markets.
