Maruti opens booking for new Ertiga. Here is how you can book at just Rs 11,000

Maruti Suzuki India today opened bookings for new version of its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), Ertiga. The bookings for the second generation Ertiga can be done at Maruti Arena showrooms by paying an initial payment of Rs 11,000.

The country's largest carmaker plans to launch the seven-seater MPV on November 21. The MPV will be available in both the both petrol (1.5 litre) and diesel (1.3 litre) engine options in four variants and colours.

The next-gen Ertiga is conceptualised on fifth generation HEARTECT platform to ensure enhanced safety and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) performance by making it stronger and more rigid, the company said.


The new Ertiga is bigger in comparison to its previous version in terms of length and space. The car will get the new K15 1.5-litre petrol engine like Ciaz that gives 105bhp and 138Nm torque. The petrol version will get the SHVS mild hybrid technology. For diesel, the new Ertiga will have 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel which makes 90bhp and 200Nm of torque.

It is also equipped with new 15-inch alloy wheels and chrome outlining on the license plate.
