Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG launched at Rs 9.99 lakh: Check features, mileage & variants

Mahindra has expanded its compact SUV line-up with the launch of the XUV 3XO ZNG, a new CNG-powered version of the XUV 3XO. Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with four variants on offer. The new model features twin CNG cylinders positioned in the boot. The XUV 3XO CNG retains the design of its petrol-powered counterpart, with ZNG badging on the tailgate distinguishing the new variant. It combines a turbo-petrol engine with CNG capability and offers features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG is available in four variants, with prices going up to Rs 12.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The MX Edge is the entry-level variant, while the RevX A sits at the top of the range.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG engine, performance and mileage

The 2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged, multi-point fuel-injection (TCMPFi) petrol engine. It produces 110 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a fuel efficiency figure of 24.70 km/kg for the CNG model. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 11.8 seconds. The addition of a CNG option gives buyers another fuel choice in the compact SUV segment, where running costs remain an important consideration.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG features: Sunroof, touchscreen and 360-degree camera

The XUV 3XO ZNG comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a separate 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an engine start-stop button.

The SUV also gets three steering modes: Normal, Comfort and Sports. Additional equipment includes a rear wiper, height-adjustable front seat belts, front and rear armrests, connected LED tail-lamps and Dolby Atmos audio.

The exterior design remains largely unchanged from the petrol version, with the ZNG badge serving as a distinguishing feature.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG safety features

Safety equipment on the new XUV 3XO CNG includes six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and reverse parking sensors.

The SUV also gets three-point seat belts for all occupants, a seat-belt reminder system and a speed alert system.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG rivals in India

The Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG enters the compact SUV market alongside CNG-powered alternatives such as the Tata Nexon CNG and Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG.

With a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh, a claimed mileage of 24.70 km/kg and a turbocharged engine, the new offering adds another option for buyers looking for a CNG SUV with a feature-rich cabin.
