Mahindra Thar ROXX STAR edition launched. Check price, special features and other details

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Thar ROXX STAR EDN in India at an introductory price starting at Rs 16.85 lakh. Positioned as a premium addition to the Thar ROXX range, the STAR EDN gets bespoke exterior and interior updates while retaining the same powertrain options.

According to the company, the Thar ROXX STAR EDN is aimed at buyers seeking a more exclusive and stylish SUV experience. Key upgrades include all-black leatherette seats with suede accents, a piano-black grille, and piano-black alloy wheels.

The SUV is available in four colour options—Citrine Yellow, Tango Red, Everest White and Stealth Black.

Mechanically, there are no changes. The Thar ROXX STAR EDN continues to be offered with the 2.0-litre TGDi mStallion petrol engine producing 130 kW and 380 Nm, and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine delivering 128.6 kW and 400 Nm. All variants come with a rear-wheel-drive setup.

The Thar ROXX range was first introduced in 2024.

The Mahindra Thar ROXX STAR EDN is offered with introductory ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 16.85 lakh. The D22 diesel MT variant is priced at Rs 16.85 lakh, while the D22 diesel AT costs Rs 18.35 lakh. On the petrol side, the G20 TGDi AT variant is priced at Rs 17.85 lakh, while the manual petrol variant is not available (all ex-showroom prices). All variants come with a rear-wheel-drive configuration.
