Hyundai’s new transmission is clutchless, meaning the car will only require two pedals to operate - an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal - thanks to Hyundai’s Transmission Control Unit.

The TCU sends a signal, instead of using a clutch pedal, to engage the hydraulic actuator which forms pressure that is sent to the clutch plate which is disengaged and allows a gear change.

Hyundai has also launched a new trim with the Venue, adding red accents on the exterior and red brake callipers, while the interior gets a new flat bottom wheel with red stitching.

The SX and SX(O) trim come with the new 6-speed iMT gearbox powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine offering 98.6 bhp and 240 Nm torque.
