Gone in 60 minutes: Mahindra XUV 700 gets 25,000 bookings in an hour
The company said that this reflects up to six months of production depending on the variant.
Mahindra will resume bookings for the next 25,000 units at 10 am tomorrow with prices increased by about Rs 50,000 across the range. The new prices begin at Rs 12.49 lakh ex-showroom for the entry-level variant compared to Rs 11.99 lakh for the first 25,000 units.
Prices will again be increased once the next 25,000 are sold, the company said.
“We opened bookings at 10 am this morning. We are humbled and grateful for the response, in fact thrilled that we have received 25,000 XUV700 bookings in a record time of 57 minutes from its commencement,” said Veejay Nakra, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
