Eicher Polaris JV launches personal utility vehicle Multix

MYSORE: Eicher Polaris, a 50:50 JV between Eicher Motors and Polaris Industries, today forayed into Karnataka with the launch of Multix, a personal utility vehicle with ten dealerships.

Multix is specially designed for small businessmen, who wish to buy a vehicle that fulfils the needs of their family and business.

Powered by a diesel engine, Multix gives a mileage of 28.45 kmpl. Multix will be available in two variants (AX+ and MX) and four colours starting at Rs 2,62,970 (ex-showroom Karnataka), the company said.

Eicher Polaris CEO Radhesh C Verma said Multix is a personal vehicle loaded with utility and "it empowers independent businessmen to unlock their potential."

Multix is designed and engineered to suit family, business and power generation needs of the consumer, a company release said.

The cabin space can comfortably seat a family of five along with luggage and Multix can be adapted to create large storage space of 1,918 litres.
