BMW's i Vision Dee concept: A car that can change colors in seconds

The BMW i Vision Dee is a color-changing concept car revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show 2023.

Dee stands for Digital Emotional Experience. When the driver approaches the vehicle, Dee registers her identity, opens the door automatically and can express moods such as joy or astonishment with visual cues on the grille and headlights.

The sedan has color-changing body panels and it changes through a full palette of colors with different parts of the car body showing different colors all at once. Even the wheels change color.

Drivers have zero buttons and switches with a super-sleek interior where the windshield acts as a giant voice-controlled display.

While most of the car is conceptual, BMW said some features will start arriving in 2025.
