BMW has expanded its X1 line-up in India with the launch of the new BMW X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB), bringing more space, a roomier rear cabin and a new petrol-powered option to the luxury SUV segment.

The BMW X1 LWB is priced at Rs 49.90 lakh, ex-showroom. The new model is aimed at buyers looking for a more spacious luxury SUV, with BMW focusing particularly on rear-seat comfort.

BMW X1 LWB: More space for rear passengers

The biggest change is the extended wheelbase, which creates more room inside the cabin. BMW describes the X1 LWB as offering an abundant amount of interior space and the most spacious rear cabin in its segment.

The SUV gets a floating armrest design and a wireless phone charger, adding to the focus on passenger comfort.

The boot can offer up to 1,700 litres of space, giving the X1 LWB enough room for larger luggage requirements.
