Altroz Racer: Tata Motors launches its latest hatchback. Check price and other details

Tata Motors on Friday launched the Altroz Racer, the latest addition to its premium hatchback lineup.

The Altroz Racer, designed with race car-inspired aesthetics, has an introductory price of Rs 9.49 lakh.

Tata Motors also said that the Altroz is the first hatchback in India to earn the prestigious 5 Star Global NCAP Safety rating. Expanding the Altroz lineup, Tata Motors also introduced two new variants, the XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX, and upgraded the XZ+OS variant.

Key features:
The Altroz Racer stands out as the top-tier version of the Altroz, packed with advanced features including a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six standard airbags.

This sporty variant of the Altroz introduces a high-performance 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine, delivering 120 Ps at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque from 1750 to 4000 rpm.

Notably, it is the only hatchback in its segment to offer a six-speed manual gearbox, ensuring agile performance in both city and highway driving conditions.

The Racer will be available in three variants—R1, R2, and R3—and three distinctive colors: Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.

These new variants offer a range of powertrains including petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG options, further enhancing the Altroz’s appeal.
