A newer version of the Honda City is here

Now in its 22nd year on road, the Honda City is on its fifth iteration on Indian roads with over eight lakh customers in the subcontinent.

Honda’s fifth redesign of the car has birthed many similarities to the car’s bigger cousin - the Civic - with a new nose and redesigned LED headlamps.

The refresh has also brought with it more cabin space, with the car increasing in length, more room has been freed up in the rear making the new City the longest and the widest in the segment.

Honda’s 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine is compliant with the latest emission standards, while being available in both a petrol and a diesel version, with the option of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic.

The new City comes with 32 Alexa-enabled features, with the Japanese carmaker using Amazon’s virtual assistant to enable voice control keeping the rest of the centre console pretty much the same as before.
