The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (fada) had filed an application with the Supreme Court a few days back ,seeking extension of sale and registration of BS-IV vehicles till May 31, 2020 -- an extension of 2 months from the March 31 deadline to clear the unsold stock.

The latest update from the Supreme Court is that we have a Probable Listing for the 27th of March, fada said in a statement.

With this background and the fact that many more cities and towns have gone into lockdown today, OEM's need to give assurance of return of unsold BS-IV inventory in case we do not get a date extension in the Supreme Court.
