Porsche launches Cayenne Coupe. Check price & features

Porsche, Luxury sports carmaker, launched its Cayenne Coupe model in India. The Cayenne Coupe is priced at Rs 1.32 crore, the Cayenne Turbo Coupe is tagged at Rs 1.98 crore, the company said in a statement.

The model shares the same technical attributes as the third-generation Cayenne, and two derivatives of it -- Cayenne Coupe and Cayenne Turbo Coupe -- will be available for customers to order, the company said in a statement.

The luxury models come with turbocharged engines. The Cayenne Coupe is powered by a 3-liter V6 turbo engine that delivers 340 hp and 450 Nm of peak torque. With a top speed of 243 kmph the vehicle is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.

Porsche has brought the sleeker and aggressive model. The Cayenne Coupe comes with a slimmer front windscreen and A-pillar. A sloping roofline makes the car shorter in height by 20 mm. At the exterior, it comes with 18mm wider bumpers compared to the standard Cayenne. Inside the cabin, it gets a similar dashboard, controls, and touchscreen infotainment system as the Cayenne SUV.

Luxury sports carmaker Porsche is banking on its new product offerings to help it maintain sales at previous year's level amid a slowdown in the country, according to a senior company official.
