Pricing options
The new colour scheme is offered only on the top-spec Sharp variant and prices start at Rs 16.84 lakh for the Hybrid petrol variant with manual transmission while it costs Rs 17.75 lakh for the automatic gearbox. The diesel variant is priced at Rs 18.08 lakh.

Internet inside
On the inside, the Hector comes equipped with a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a host of safety aides including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, traction control, hill hold assist among others.

Heart of the matter
The Hector dual-tone is being offered with the same engine options as the regular Hector. These include a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Sales increase
MG Motor India on September 1, 2020, reported a 41.2 per cent increase in its retail sales at 2,851 units in August. The company had sold 2,018 units in the same month last year, MG Motor India said in a statement. The company is also getting ready for the launch of its new SUV Gloster by Diwali this year.
