Mercedes-Benz India posts record H1 sales at 9,768 units
Mercedes-Benz India posted its best-ever first-half sales, retailing 9,768 vehicles in H1 2026, up 9% year-on-year. The company also recorded its highest-ever Q2 sales at 4,637 units, a 10% increase from a year earlier.
The company's arm, Mercedes-Benz India, also achieved its best-ever Q2 sales, retailing 4,637 units in the April to June 2026 period, up 10 per cent over 4,238 units in the year-ago period.
"The growth has been fundamentally driven by new launches... The new V-Class and CLA BEV drove our best-ever H1 and Q2 sales," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & CEO Santosh Iyer said.

The CLA BEV has propelled Mercedes-Benz's electric vehicle penetration to reach 14 per cent in Q2 2026, he added.
Top-end luxury segment (vehicles priced above Rs 1.4 crore) sales grew by more than 20 per cent in H1 2026, the company said, adding that in H1 2026, 28 per cent of all luxury cars sold by it were top-end vehicles.
Waiting period for some of the company's cars in the top-end luxury segment currently ranges from four months and extends up to a year for products like the AMG G 63, it added.

Mercedes-Benz India said its core segment, C-Class, E-Class LWB sedans, the GLC and GLE SUVs, also significantly contributed to the H1 and Q2 sales.
The entry luxury segment delivered a growth of 29 per cent in Q2 2026, driven by the all-new CLA BEV and other products like the GLA SUV.
