The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki Monday said it will raise prices across its range of vehicles next month to offset rising input costs and operational expenses.

The price hike is expected to be up to 4%, and will vary depending on the model.

“In light of rising input costs and operational expenses, the Company has planned to increase the prices of its cars from April, 2025”, Maruti Suzuki said in a statement to the bourses.


Maruti Suzuki sells a range of vehicles in the Indian market from small car Alto to multi-purpose vehicle Invicto.

The company said while it “continuously strives to optimize costs and minimize the impact on its customers, some portion of the increased cost may need to be passed on to the market.”
