Mahindra XUV700 completes 50,000 bookings in under 3 hours

Mahindra announced on Twitter that it has completed bookings of the first 50,000 units of its XUV700 SUV on Friday. The company claims to have received bookings of 25,000 units in a period of just 2 hours on the second day.

"A big shout out to all our customers who have showered the #XUV700 with love like never before! Thank you yet again for an overwhelming response," the Mahindra XUV700 twitter handle posted.

The bookings started yesterday where the XUV700 saw over 25,000 bookings in 57 minutes. "The #XUV700 has crossed an unprecedented milestone in the Indian automotive industry. We thank you for making this possible. Bookings will now reopen starting 10 AM on 8th October," it said.

A few days ago, the automaker revealed the full price list of its new SUV, which starts from Rs 11.99 lakhs.
