Mahindra total auto sales rise 18% to 97,177 units in February 2026
Mahindra & Mahindra announced strong sales for February 2026. Automobile sales grew 18 percent. Utility vehicle sales increased 19 percent in the domestic market. Commercial vehicle sales saw a 10 percent rise. Tractor sales surged 34 percent.
Utility vehicle sales in the domestic market rose 19% to 60,018 units last month, compared with 50,420 units in February 2025, the company said in a statement. Domestic commercial vehicle sales stood at 24,585 units, marking a 10% increase.

Total exports during the month grew 11% to 3,384 units against 3,059 units in the year-ago period.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, said the February performance reflected “robust customer demand across the portfolio”.
In a separate statement, the company said its total tractor sales surged 34% to 34,133 units in February 2026, up from 25,527 units a year earlier.
Domestic tractor sales jumped 35% to 32,153 units last month from 23,880 units in February 2025, while exports rose 20% year-on-year to 1,980 units.

Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business, said strong growth in the rabi sowing area, healthy reservoir levels and a favourable kharif harvest were improving rural cash flows.
“These positive sentiments, along with Navratri this month, will help boost tractor demand,” Nakra said.
