Mahindra on Sunday unveiled the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, a more indulgent take on its flagship electric SUV, priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bookings for the new edition will open on March 2, 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin from March 10, 2026. The Cineluxe Edition is offered in exclusive Satin Black and Satin White exterior shades.

The Cineluxe Edition builds on the success of the XEV 9e, which was globally unveiled in November 2024 and has since emerged as one of India’s most awarded electric SUVs. The model won the Green Car of the Year title at the ICOTY 2026 and has gained traction among celebrities, sportspersons and business leaders, the company said.

The new edition introduces exclusive Satin Black and Satin White exterior shades, paired with Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette interiors. Mahindra said the materials and finishes have been curated to enhance the in-cabin experience, positioning it closer to a “private lounge”.

A key highlight is what the company describes as a cinematic cabin setup. The SUV features a coast-to-coast triple HD display and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. An Infinity Roof and ambient lighting system offering over 16 million colour options are designed to allow users to tailor the cabin atmosphere.

The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is based on the top-end Pack Three variant and is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed real-world range of over 500 km on a single charge.

It retains the full suite of advanced features available in the Pack Three trim, including the StraightAhead VisionX augmented reality head-up display, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, HandsFree Park with auto park assist, and Secure360. New additions include Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes, custom drive modes, a digital key, Secure360 Pro and personalised user profiles.

Mahindra said the Cineluxe Edition is aimed at buyers seeking understated luxury in the electric SUV segment, combining long-range capability with high-end comfort and technology features.
