The automaker also logged its best-ever quarterly performance, with sales in the January–March period increasing 11.6% to 84,316 units, compared with 75,576 units in the same quarter last year.

"We delivered our best-ever March sales and strongest-ever quarterly performance, driven by sustained demand across our portfolio. The new Seltos, backed by its 5-star BNCAP rating, continues to lead momentum, while Sonet and Carens line-up remain steady volume drivers with continuous enhancements aligned to evolving customer needs," said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India.
Sales growth was led by the Seltos, which has consistently clocked over 10,000 units in monthly sales since its latest iteration was introduced. The Sonet and Carens also contributed to volumes, with the compact SUV benefiting from wider availability of automatic variants across petrol and diesel options, while the Carens continued to see stable demand.

Kia India said its sales momentum has been supported by a nationwide network of 862 touchpoints across 390 cities, along with 124 certified pre-owned outlets.
The company said it will look to sustain growth through new product launches and market expansion.
