Kia India announces trim details of recently unveiled Carens MPV

Automaker Kia India on Tuesday announced the trim details and specifications of the Kia Carens MPV, its fourth offering in India that was unveiled a few days back.

As per Kia, the MPV will be available in five different trim options -- Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus -- with bookings all set to commence from 14th January.

The three-row recreational vehicle will have multiple powertrain and seating options.


The Kia website says that the vehicle comes with robust safety features that includes 6 Airbags, ABS, ESC, HAC, VSM, DBC (Downhill Break Control), BAS, All-Wheel Disc Brakes, TPMS Highline and Rear Parking Sensors available across all variants.

It also comes with a 10.25 inch HD touchscreen with Kia Connect.

The South Korean auto major's Kia Carens will see rivals in models such as the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.
