Geopolitical tensions and U.S. tariff-related spill-over effects could temper consumer sentiment, while rare earth curbs may further limit car supply and retail volumes, India's Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) said on Monday.

However, above-normal monsoons should bolster rural demand in the near-term, FADA said.
