Force Motors partners with Rosmerta for vehicle scrapping

Mumbai: Pune-based Force Motors has tied up with Rosmerta Auto Recycling for scrapping of old vehicles at the latter's facility, a statement said on Thursday.

The partnership will give Force Motors' customers access to the vehicle scrapping firm's facility, providing a defined route for retiring end-of-life vehicles, Rosmerta said.

Under the collaboration, eligible vehicles will undergo the required documentation and scrapping processes, including depollution and dismantling, followed by the segregation and recovery of materials that can be recycled at Rosmerta's facility.


Rosmerta, an authorised Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) operating in the National Capital Region (NCR), provides environmentally compliant end-of-life vehicle recycling solutions through advanced depollution, dismantling and material recovery processes, enabling sustainable resource utilisation and supporting India's circular economy objectives, as per the statement.

The partners will also work towards making the process easier for vehicle owners looking to retire their ageing vehicles, it said.

Once a vehicle reaches our facility, we can safely depollute and dismantle it and recover materials such as steel and aluminium for recycling.
