BMW reveals a new sexy bike: 2021 R nineT

The new BMW R nineT will come in four variants – Standard, Pure, Scrambler and Urban G/S. There are also various colour combinations for these models: the Urban G/S will be available in Alpine White with Tape, Blackstorm metallic/Racing Red, and in Edition 40 Years GS versions. While the other three come in standard Granite Grey Metallic Matt. Also there are various colour combinations for the other three models.

BMW has tweaked the old engine to meet the requirements of the EU-5 norms. Its peak power has dropped a notch from 110 hp to 109 hp while the maximum torque is still 116 Nm at 6000 rpm.

ABS Pro including DBC (Dynamic Brake Control) and a new suspension strut with travel-dependent damping (WAD) now come as standard, as do the “Rain" and “Road” riding modes in the R nineT 2021. Besides, it will feature classic circular instrument with a new dial, LED lighting units and USB charging socket as standard.

LED headlights include daytime running light/parking light as standard.

The BMW R Nine T is expected to go on sale internationally soon but may come to India later next year. The current model of R nineT is available for starting price of about Rs 17 lakh and the new model is also expected to be available in the same price range.
